WAY too long to drop an atom bomb.

Ok , so I suck at deviantArting as of now. Last I posted was September last year, saying hey hey I'm going to be all good now and keep posting stuff, but well looookeee here, I obviously haven't
WAIT. I do have a GREAT reason. Here are the updates.
So I quit Law School.
Moved out of Pune, where I lived alone and all that.
Back home @ Coimbatore.
The 'rents freaked ofcourse.
I applied for 2 Distance Education Programmes.. a Bachelors in English Literature, and a Bachelors in Visual Communication.
Andddddd A certificate course in 3d Animation, which is meh
Learning Photoshop was fun...and ... A diploma in creative writing through Distance Education again.
I also applied for a Communication Design Course, full time at a good design school.. DJ academy of Design, run by National Institute of Design's founding chairman Prof.S.Balaram who has also been on the board of all the other top design schools in my country.., it's residential, got students from all over .. it's near my city.. and la voila I GOT IN !!! woo !
Besides that, life turned out great after I took that grand step of quitting Law and leaving that awesome city, back to my small-city roots
I first got a job Copywriting and doing Public Relations and Photography for a rave new Fashion Brand called Dope, which specialized in graphic art teeshirts and etc., which means I got to give a helluva lot of design inputs, what an amazing learning experience. As I was doing that, I also got involved in a very reputed, Art initiative called Contemplate, founded by one of the pioneering supporters of the Contemporary Arts Movement in India, its pretty big, I am on the team, doing promotions for their shows, learning as I go.... And the local music and theatre scene where I again do promotions, event organizing and photography. .. andddd a Weekend sports event organization called Phenomenon Sport that's fast becoming a National Level Movement... and I organized India's first pillowfight day and Urban Playground Page which was a bit of a bummer, but in my little city quite a big thing annnnddd finally due to certain issues I quit work at the fashion brand.. but continued to work for this super cool and popular one of a kind in my city, open space cultural cafe, for whom I do events, promotions and PR for, called Atmos Cafe, plus some promotions,photography and poster design work for the local Alliance Francaise, and etc. etc phew*
Design school starts in a week.. and I just celebrated my 21st birthday.
PHEW*
What can I say, if I had never found dA and gotten all your support and encouragement through comments, faves and watchers and etc.,, I'd never have thought seriously about making this jump.. but touchwood, it's been all good, and I'm sure it only gets better if one follows their heart's dream !!
I've got a lot to upload now, and will do so... but in random order yes ?

It's been too long .

Yes, it has. It's been months since I put up anything, despite the fact that I'd taken so many, so many photos - blame it on not having internet, blame it on my entire france photography collection on a pen drive that got corrupted, blame it on laziness and busyness. sigh.
Putting up something today, and hope to keep updating with more, soon. must find some method to this madness ..

Been very,very,very busy with work, I'm working full-time on this HIV/AIDS awareness campaign called Take10! of which I am team co-ordinator and run the Art and Photography project. The Take10 campaign (look for it on facebook, twitter, blogspot ) is an youth initiative, backed by Staying Alive foundation, MTV world networks, we're part of a bigger campaign called Wake up Pune www.wakeuppune.org which is from the city, where I study and live most of my year in, here at India.. It conists of 10 simple ways you and I and anyone can take action on the issue of HIV and AIDS and make a difference through talking, writing, art, photography, theatre, cricket, events and the t-shirt and red ribbon campaign.
This exhaustion feels good.

France was nice, people.
** Spent 5 days in Paris ( didn't see as much of the Louvre as I would have liked and I missed seeing the Andy Warhol exhibition and the Salvador Dali Espace *i wants to keeel me*
** 2 days in Bordeaux ( ah wine country, the joy of breezing at 140 kms/hr through winding roads between vineyards in the rain)
** 3 days in Marseille ( Mediterranean blue is the color of a sea , that you have to see to believe, similarily azure skies. )
** 4 days based in Nice between Cannes, St.Tropez, Monaco ( the colors and the people and the life and the sun and the atmosphere!!)
and Voila, I'm back after 2 weeks.. it was fun using my rusty French, they were all tickled

I NOW HAVE 3000+ photos to wade through, I'm not kidding
Thinking of opening 2 new dA accounts for People photography and Stock photography respectively. watsay!

i haven't updated ze journal is zo loooongu.
it was just that my laptops were both fooked.
and i was at the verge of losing all my data esp. my music and photos.. and that was quite depressing!!!
law school's over for this year. gah. i want out.
i';m back home for summer in small town south india where my only social life is gym and tennis and the www .haahaha!! *lameness*
bored. bored.
but i'm leaving to France in 2 weeks..!! can't wait.. especially all the photo-ops and friends at Bordeaux. Anyone who's visited France.. do let me know places to see and anything else!!
anddddd i've finally procured photoshop. lets see where it takes me. though i seem to be very comfortable with picasa. sigh.
maybe i'll get a dslr this birthday!!
